A recent call over the winter time has been for a decorative resin bonded stone covering  cost for slippery imprinted driveways.  Unfortunately the client was too far for us to be able to complete the works, but we are more than happy to chat and give as much information as possible.

The caller had a “very slippery pattern imprinted concrete drive” which was also on a slope! They had seen one of our posts and was after potential for an anti slip decorative resin bonded stone covering cost.

The process would involve very little preparation work as the structure in place had good integrity so we were able to provide an indication of the cost based on a natural finish although we do need to have a site visit to ensure the suitability.

One of the difficulties with our product is the weather.  Once the decorative resin bonded stone covering is in place it will offer excellent ant slip surfacing qualities, but we are governed by the time of year for installs.

Resin bonded stone has been in supply for nearly 20 years now and we have been working with resin for over 15 years.  Our suppliers continue to research the potential for wet weather installs, but to date they have not achieved this.

Drive-Cote Ltd resin bonded resurfacing company Rise Park completes this unusual resin bonded gravel quote works we wrote about in August of this year. In the clients words “wow what a difference”

Just to recap the external surface was floor tiles which had become a bit of slip trip hazard and  we at Drive-Cote Ltd a local  resin bonded resurfacing company Rise Park intend to strip back all of the tiles and possibly save for reuse internally and clean up the concrete base.  We would then recommend a curing time for the base to dry out naturally before any further works are completed.

Once dried out we could then use the base as a surface for our resin bonded stone installation. Remedial works completed we will then seal the concrete prior to any install.

The client had decided to have the works completed as not only had the loose tiles become a bit of a trip hazard, the actual walking surface of the tiles was extremely slippery.  Coupled with the clients increasing restricted mobility and the need for a low maintenance surface.

As we have talked about before whilst this is a worst case scenario uneven and slippery surfaces can create real issues  which is  now being replaced!

Whilst  the weather continues to be kind we have been able to cut down on our waiting list and complete works ahead of schedule.
