Driveway quote for Resin Bonded Gravel
Out to look at a driveway at East Leake.
Currently a block paved driveway – quite large with a dwarf wall on both sides. There is a grassed and garden area to the left of the property. Whilst still fairly substantial in build and having been down for approximately 20 years, it is need of moss removal and re sanding and sealing – general upkeep and maintenance really.
The client has regularly maintained the driveway which is probably the reason the standard and stability of this driveway is still to a good level. However, the constant need to maintain the driveway and the constant moss growth and weeds are causing concern for our client. With the weather being so variable throughout the year damp and moist conditions are a breeding ground for the moss and weeds and our client is of the opinion it is getting worse and more difficult to maintain.
The drive measures approx 40 sqm and our client wants to extend hard landscaping to some of the grassed and garden area in order to cater for more vehicles. His most important requirement though is the removal of the block paving and the installation of a solid uniform maintenance free driveway.
We are currently assessing and pricing for the owner and will be costing to incorporate all of the above works.
We are regularly asked to not only resurface driveways, paths and patios with our Resin Bonded gravel, but to also increase and develop additonal areas and features to the existing area.
We have completed a few jobs local to this address in East Leake – Diseworth and Sutton Bonnington so we know the area well. Leicesterrshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire all border each other so we are able to cover most of these counties.
Once we have priced for this client we hope that he will be able to give us a start date ( we currently have a waiting time of 8 to 10 weeks).
A resin drive would certainly eliminate the need for maintenance and it will offer an anti slip quality not catered for with block paving.
