resin bonded aggregate installation feedback
We have just completed a large project in West Bridgford this week and you will see below the resin bonded aggregate installation feedback we obtained on completion of the works.
This client was looking for inspiration after completing a large property refurbishment and extension.
There was a large area of old tarmac a little bit worse for wear and natural stone walling on the perimeter. In addition there was a stone gravel bed in the centre of the driveway. Rather than remove this we suggested it could be utilised as a feature. Repointing the areas of walling being a must and in order to minimise migration of loose gravel areas, we suggested incorporating further hard standing areas creating a uniformity. This could be completed with tarmac and the resin could then be used to bring all old and tired areas together with the new surfaces.
Our contractor moved in first to dig out as required, lay and compact hardcore, base and top coat flush with the existing surfaces. There was also a bullnose edge installed the length of the driveway to add further detail.
If any of our potential clients want to read independent resin bonded aggregate installation feedback, we provide numerous details within our information packs we send out.
The tarmac needed to be left to cure so that the oils within the tarmac do not react with the resin.
We were then able to resurface the whole area to provide a virtually weed free and maintenance free option. In addition to this even though this time of year we do not consider slipperiness, the resin bonded stone has excellent anti slip properties.
Please find below the resin bonded aggregate installation feedback we have had from this client – we asked as follows:
“Good morning
Just to acknowledge the monies received in our account. I have seen the pictures and it certainly looks impressive now on the entrance to your property. Were the lads ok? Clean and tidy and polite? We like to check that everything is ok? We say our resin bonded stone can be completed in a day, but obviously this is not always the case with large jobs – but did you find it a pretty quick process with very little mess or disruption?”

and the resin bonded aggregate installation feedback was
“Hi Faith
Thank you for your email.
I’m pleased to say that the workmen were very polite and although the work took 2 days for the main works we were still able to get to and from the house and there was very little disruption.
I believe one of my neighbours has already got your details from one of the lads. I would be happy to recommend you to any of my friends and we are very happy with result.
Regards
Alex”
This week we are out to Denby and Selston to quote and in fact already we have a quote to complete in Nottingham as a result of a viewing at the job we have just detailed. Concrete tarmac or imprinted concrete any of these surfaces are perfect for our resin – solid monolithic surfaces.
